Case History
In the spring of 2023, mass searches of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Vladivostok gave rise to a criminal case against 12 believers. One of them was Tatyana Maz — a little more than six months after the searches, the local investigative committee charged her with participation in the activities of an extremist organization and involvement in it. The case of the believer was brought into a separate proceeding in February 2025.
