Repeated attempts to deliver Bibles to Ruslan and Roza — both through parcel deliveries and by mail — were unsuccessful. At the same time, the administration of the detention facility informed the relatives of the Tazyrovs that enough Bibles were available in the institution. However, their distribution is regulated by a special procedure: it is necessary to file an application to meet with a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church, after which a decision is made regarding the provision of Bibles.

The Ordzhonikidzevskiy District Court rules to forcibly place Mariya Gareyeva in a psychiatric hospital for up to 30 days in order to conduct an expert study.
The formal reason is a recommendation from the commission that previously carried out an outpatient forensic psychiatric study as part of the investigation. The defense considers the decision unfounded. Mariya tells the court that during that expert study, the doctor asked questions as if conducting an interrogation and threatened her twice with hospitalization. At the same time, the believer freely spoke about her personal life, but exercised her right not to testify against herself when the questions concerned the criminal case.
Judge Yelena Chirukhina rejects the arguments of Mariya and her lawyer. The decision can be appealed.
